The first episode of the online Coronation Street spin-off, Streetcars Stories, is available to watch below.

There will be four episodes of the new online series but this is the only one available via YouTube with the remaining episodes shown exclusively at www.itv.com/corrie on the official Coronation Street website.

In the first episode, Steve and Lloyd do "The Stripper" breakfast scene from the Morceambe and Wise show.  Further episodes will see a very special charcter - Fat Brenda's daughter Imogen - turning up!

Thanks for making the first episode available on YouTube, however for those of us outside of the UK, we politely ask that the others also be available as the ITVPlayer isn't available for us in Canada and I fear the other episodes will not work either. Thanks!!

The drummer has obviously never played a burlesque show! (A good thing?!)
If Mr. Fewtrell was allowed to put this much effort into the comedy moments on the regular show, maybe we wouldn't have all the complaints about the lack of the little humorous moments Corrie used to be famous for.
Coming oh the heels of the rumour about a Canadian spinoff, it make me wonder what the ITV bosses are up to. May I suggest they concentrate on improving the quality of the regular show before they try to expand it even further. Their greed will end up costing them viewers, as the stretched-too-thin staff are unable to produce a quality product.

I totally enjoyed that, sad that I probably won't get to see the rest since I am in the US.

It would have been even funnier if Eileen had walked in at the end and seen them!

Enjoyed that! Proves that SG and CC both have great comedic skills. The writers have given Stephen some scenes to show that; how about Lloyd getting some funny storylines instead of heavy ones?

Just goes to show that ITV has nothing but contempt for their millions of Corrie fans outside the UK, they show the first episode and then thumb their nose at them by not making the further episodes available on their site worldwide or putting them on Youtube.
That's not the way to keep your viewers.

The way in which Canadian viewers have been able to pay for guided tours of the set and studios for some years now which have not been open to UK viewers shows that you Canadians have had your advantages too...

Why are these thing made to be shown online? This is exactly the sort of delightful nonsense the main show used to feature and now lacks so sorely.
