First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Sean and Marcus with a baby carriage? Maybe, though I can't see it, myself. The Sun is touting an Elton John copycat storyline where Marcus and Sean get back together and end up adopting Violet and Sean's son, Dylan.
Unless something drastic happens to Vi, it doesn't seem like she'd give up the baby easily. And if something does happen to her, well, haven't we already done a similar storyline with Simon losing his mum and ending up with a reluctant Peter? Ok, that's the difference, in that Sean would be more than happy to take Dylan and raise him.
I think it's more realistic that Sean and Marcus get shared custody and have Dylan part-time but when has the sun of reality shone brightly on Corrie lately? Anyway, it doesn't matter, it will be great to see Marcus back together with Sean, whatever happens with Dylan.

I reckon it will be shared custody
Sean is Dylans father so why would he have to Adopt him he is his blood there is no adoption needed
Perhaps Violet can no longer cope with the baby. It would certainly be an interesting twist on the usual story. However, with Jack, Hope and Liam in the street, haven't we got enough babies already?
Dylan will be nearer to Max's age than a baby
Will be very interesting to see whether or not this comes to pass, and if so how the writers explain why Sean ends up with Dylan - I can't see Violet giving him up willingly, after all! Will it be more a case of agreeing to share custody, so that Dylan starts coming for occasional visits rather than living with Sean full time? Or will something happen to Violet?
I actually like having a lot of young families on the show - I've always enjoyed the throwaway domestic scenes like birthday parties and the school run, etc. If Sean starts getting involved in stuff like that, it'll widen the scope of his character interaction.
re: your comments about Peter's initial reluctance to take Simon, in fairness to Peter he was reluctant because he was petrified; having screwed up his own life so comprehensively, he couldn't imagine how he could possibly avoid doing the same to Simon. It was never about not loving his son or not wanting the best for him, on the contrary. When Simon first came along, Peter was desperate to parent him - that's how the whole bigamy mess came about in the first place.
