Alison King is preparing her return to Coronation Street as Carla Gordon with a photoshoot in her bikini. I'm sure that'll come in handy on those chilly cobbles when she returns to the Street this autumn. It's a photo to accompany an interview with Alison in Closer magazine in which she talks about her baby daughter Daisy May, her return to Corrie and to promote her post-baby diet."I'm going back to Corrie in September and didn't want to turn up looking completely different. The camera puts 10lb on you as it is."

Why a bikini shot for heavens sake!
Isn't having a baby enough of a challenge? Why do celebrities feel the need to don a bikini within a few months after giving birth? Just to make the rest of us feel even worse? It's mostly photoshop anyway!
Well exactly. In some ways I can't blame them for doing these as they must be paid a small fortune and if they aren't, then they're doubly mad for doing it.
