Steve McDonald gets Tracy Barlow pregnant

There's a Coronation Street spoiler in today's News of the World that reckons Tracy Barlow's going to get pregnant with Steve McDonald's baby after a drunken one-night stand. And that's when Becky will leave Corrie, the paper says.

Who knows if this will turn out to be true, or not?

Apparently, the door is being left open for Katherine Kelly to return to Corrie as Becky McDonald too.

Rachel said...: *Groan* I highly suspected that Tracy would play a large role in facilitating Becky's exit, but to have her exit in similiar circumstances as Karen, isn't right. Let me guess, Becky's going to go off on one, take Amy with her (because there will be no baby to snatch at the time), and make it look as if she's putting Amy's life in danger. It'll be the final nail in the coffin for Steve and he'll banish Becky from their lives for good.

Given Becky's history and backstory, she could have done something totally unforgiveable that she'd have two choices: face time in jail or to run and leave Weatherfield for good. I don't know if all the bad deeds (buying Max, robbing the corner shop, assaulting people, etc.) combined are grounds for sending her back to prison, or if she'd have to do something else, but it would be in Becky's character, not some copy of a storyline from 7 years ago.; 5 June 2011 17:18

Debbie Potatohead said...: With Becky's record she would have been sent down for criminal damage for what she did to the Barlows but so far not a peep, does corrie deem it acceptable to smash into a neighbours house and wreck it and nothng is done? Steve should never have been put with Becky, the same as Tina should never have been put with Graeme, the Powers that Be think its such a marvellous idea, and it doesnt work and ruins all the characters in the meantime.; 6 June 2011 07:56
