Corrie heads to London for Easter special

ITV.com has confirmed Corrie is going to have an hour long Easter special, which heralds the return of *takes deep breath* Marcus, Jamie, Violet, Todd and Dylan. Sean will be seen heading down to London to see Dylan, where he bumps into his old flame, Marcus.

Todd however will be heading north to see Eileen, with his new boyfriend, what will he think of life in Weatherfield, after living in London for so long?

I'm really looking forward to these episodes, it's quite rare for Coronation Street to do episodes such as these, as they're usually saved for DVD specials. Will be good to see a Baldwin again too!

Then I persume that I dreamt reading that Violet told Sean she was no longer with Jamie? That must have been last summer, as there's not been any mention of Dylan on Canadian screens as far as I remember.

It will be good to see the characters again, rather than a sideaway from Sean saying that he went to London for the weekend.

I'm looking forward to seeing the scenes in Weatherfield too, from Todd's POV, he'll find it a right hole lol

Is this the first time ever that Corrie's filmed in London??

Now that you mention it, I can't recall an episode that has, or ever heard of one that has

I can't wait to see the return of The Lovely Violet - she's always been one of my favourites.

I am really looking forward to seeing Marcus and Todd. Jamie and Violet not so much. I thought Violet treated Sean like dirt.

Yes, they have filmed in London at least once. Can't remember the exact storyline, but it involved Audrey at the gates of Buckingham Palace.

Corrie has been filmed in London three times at least:
1) Elsie in 1973 visiting Dennis in jail.
2) Alf collecting his OBE in 1995 (filmed outside Buckingham Palace)
3) Toyah in 1998 running away to find her real father (shots showed her near Big Ben in the lorry which she hitch-hiked in).

Oh goody. More gay storylines. Corrie's been short of those recently. Nice to have a change.;)
