So despite the fact that both he and Mason drove Liam to the brink of committing suicide due to their bullying,Dylan gets a birthday party and gifts?! I guess Sean doesn't have the guts to cancel the party?
It wasn’t really a party. The adults who live in the house just put up a banner. Sean didn’t know they were going to do that.
I don't think there was an actual party, was there?
I can't believe Bethany would only be offered £200 for the far right article.
A true life, hard hitting piece like this, told from Lauren's POV, would command a much higher fee. I think Bethany is fooling Lauren over the fee.
I wonder if that's why Lauren nicked £5 from Bethany's bag?
Why didn't Bethany try and sell Max's story instead? He was the one who was groomed.
Eileen doesn't have much to say now she's returned.
With her house being so crammed, I would have thought she'd live with George in his house.
We haven't seen Brian for a long while, have we?
Anonymous, I could not agree more! If Dylan was my son, his birthday celebrations would be cancelled. Are there no consequences for his treatment of Liam? Sickening.
To be fair, Sean knew nothing about the "party". It was his housemates who put up banners etc. Sean only gave Dylan his gift grudgingly and made it very clear how disappointed and angry he was. The subsequent dialogues between Dylan and Sean, and Dylan and George were very well written. But I wish Dylan had gone to see Liam and had refused to hang out with Mason.
