TRACY AND TOMMY ARE SPOTTED PLAYING ONE-ON-ONE When Tracy reveals that she’s got the house to herself as Steve’s on an airport run, Tommy can’t resist. At the same time Gav sets about cleaning the windows at No.1, with Tim giving him a hand getting to grips with the ladder. But when Tracy sees Tim's face at the bedroom window she screams. Tim’s mortified and hurries down the ladder. Tracy appears in her dressing gown and convinces Tim and Gav that she and Steve were enjoying a bit of lunchtime fun but she’d be grateful if they kept it to themselves. Back at home Tim tells Sally about his eyeful. But when Steve later tells Sally he spent all day in his car, Sally secretly wonders who was in bed with Tracy.

JOEL’S SECRET RUNS IN THE FAMILY Alya steals herself before showing Dee-dee the CCTV footage from the bistro. Dee-Dee confronts Joel who admits that he has a wife, Emily, a daughter, Maisie and his wife threw him out when she was pregnant because he had an affair. Dee-Dee reels in shock.

EILEEN PLAYS PEACEMAKER George, Eileen and Mary make a fuss of Dylan on his birthday, but Sean can barely look at him. Dylan feels awful as he unwraps a watch to see that Sean has had it engraved. Eileen urges Sean to sit down and talk to Dylan properly.

BOBBY FEARS FOR LAUREN Bobby calls at the caf√© looking for Lauren and is put out to hear Roy sacked her. Roy calls at Lauren’s flat with her wages. Lauren thanks him for his kindness and tells him she plans to leave Weatherfield and start afresh. Bobby arrives at Lauren’s and finding the door unlocked, lets himself in. With no sign of Lauren, Bobby sends her a text and heads out, locking the door behind him. Bobby shares his concerns about Lauren with Max, telling him how he found her flat door unlocked, but no sign of her.

ELSEWHERE In the Rovers, Tim’s disappointed to find they no longer sell Newton & Ridley beer. Daisy urges Jenny to talk to the brewery, but Jenny’s dismissive. Bethany tells Daniel about the far right article and shows him a threatening message she’s received from one of Lauren’s old contacts.

So despite the fact that both he and Mason drove Liam to the brink of committing suicide due to their bullying,Dylan gets a birthday party and gifts?! I guess Sean doesn't have the guts to cancel the party?

It wasn’t really a party. The adults who live in the house just put up a banner. Sean didn’t know they were going to do that.

I don't think there was an actual party, was there?
I can't believe Bethany would only be offered £200 for the far right article.
A true life, hard hitting piece like this, told from Lauren's POV, would command a much higher fee. I think Bethany is fooling Lauren over the fee.
I wonder if that's why Lauren nicked £5 from Bethany's bag?
Why didn't Bethany try and sell Max's story instead? He was the one who was groomed.
Eileen doesn't have much to say now she's returned.
With her house being so crammed, I would have thought she'd live with George in his house.
We haven't seen Brian for a long while, have we?

Anonymous, I could not agree more! If Dylan was my son, his birthday celebrations would be cancelled. Are there no consequences for his treatment of Liam? Sickening.

To be fair, Sean knew nothing about the "party". It was his housemates who put up banners etc. Sean only gave Dylan his gift grudgingly and made it very clear how disappointed and angry he was. The subsequent dialogues between Dylan and Sean, and Dylan and George were very well written. But I wish Dylan had gone to see Liam and had refused to hang out with Mason.
