Written by Damon Rochefort, directed by Duncan Foster.
Norris receives a visit from the police informing him that Ramsay has died on the plane before making it to Australia. Rita finds Norris, and Norris tells her the bad news and asks her to deliver it to Emily. Poor Emily, in shock, once given the news about Ramsay. She calls for more information, and finds that Ramsay was suffering from a brain tumor, of which he knew of, that he was taking medication for. A very touching scene when Norris goes to his mother's grave to leave flowers and finds another bouquet left there by Ramsay with a note to his mother. Norris finally submits to his emotions over Ramsay.
It's the day of Claire's fete and the street is awash with colourful balloons, stands, banners and happy familiar faces. Claire's equipped with her headset, list of priorities and a keen attitude. Even the Underworld girls are there selling knickers and ends. There's a panic when Josh has been stung by a bee and goes into anaphylactic shock, but all is well as Janice saves the day with her nurse training.
At the fete, Blanche has taken it upon herself to be enterprising and has opened up "Gypsy Rose Hunt, Fortune Teller," by turning Deirdre's living room into a Moroccan tent.
Sophie takes Kevin and Molly to their race to cheer them on. Once Kevin crosses the finish like, Sophie tells him she's proud, then leaves to catch up with her friends. Kevin waits for Molly to finish, the congratulates. All the sudden we're treated to a hotel-room scene with Molly and Kevin and a post-coital bottle of champagne! That was quick! It's back on now.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Joshua correcting Claire on her misuse of a Spiderman quote.
- Pam reminding Claire that: "It's a street party, not the G20."
- Kelly mistaking what DVT stood for. *Shudder*
- Janice and her nursing skills saving the day. Who ever said she was useless?
- Madame Rose Hunt in her bejewelled turban and her advice to Kelly!
LOWLIGHTS
- Ramsay's untimely passing.
- Norris finally upset at the passing of his brother. I don't feel empathy for him though, but it was still just to see that he really did have feelings.
- Molly and Kevin in the hotel room together! What on earth? I thought they were still at odds?
- A sad ending, as Emily played Waltzing Matilda in tribute to Ramsay Clegg.

Yeah that KEvin and Molly thing came out of nowhere. One sweaty hug after the race, Let's go get a drink and Whoops!
I never thought about STI's when Kelly said about DVT, i thought she mistook it foe D&V (aka diarrhoea(sp) and vomiting). STI is way funnier though!

The front room at number one must be like the Tardis to store all this stuff on the off-chance!
Excellent episodes, apart from the usual shrieking from Clare (that woman is SO pointless). The curry "war" was a bit silly and I did not feel sorry for Norris one bit, trudging to the graveyard where he obviously hadn't been for ages shoulders hunched wallowing in self pity. Too late now.
The crystal ball looked like a tin foil covered grapefruit to me.
What a great episode! Emily is killing me at the moment with all of the sadness! What a fantastic actress she is. Molly and kevin. I mean please!! *vomit* I agree with tracy luv, the curry war was pathetic. I cant even remember what darryl's mum is called so that proves how much of an impression she's made on me. Talking of impressions, when I saw Graeme picking up little simon and going "are you ok?", it made me feel scarily broody..! YIKES!
oh and did kelly mean VD?
I loved Pam asking "Got any coke?"
