As we know, little Simon Barlow's grandfather (Lucy the florist's dad) will be turning up in Coronation Street later this year.However, Inside Soap magazine reveals that he'll try to take Simon away from Peter. Peter must fight to prove he's the best choice to bring up the little lad, says the magazine, when grandad George turns up and says Peter's unfit to bring up Simon. It sounds like Blanche will have a few words to say on the subject too as previous spoilers suggest a romance blossoming between George and Blanche.

I am looking forward to seeing the excellent Anthony Valentine, who I think is playing the role but grandparents do not have any rights and unless he can prove Peter is a totally unfit father, he doesnt have a chance of getting Simon, he wouldnt even have the right to see him without Peter's say so.
No!!!! I don't want Simon to leave! He's my fave youngster!
