In flagrante: Mon Sept 7, 2009 Corrie Episode Review

Written by Mark Wadlow, directed by Alan Wareing.

I apologise for my absence as of late - I have been on a bit of hiatus as I have been in the process of moving homes. Please forgive me. :)

Jack has decided to move in with Connie, but can't tell Tyrone so he enlists Molly's help. Tyrone already isn't keen on Jack moving out, period. Molly breaks the news to Tyrone about Jack moving with with Connie. Tyrone's not happy, so Jack insists on taking him over to Connie's house in an attempt at changing his mind. Tyrone sees Connie's mansion and realizes she's not a gold digger. He then sees the billiards room and warms even more. Tyrone ends up apologising to Connie, and all's well that ends well.

Molly and Kevin find new excuses to be able to meet at hotel rooms in continuing their clandestine affair. Kevin will do more recoveries, and Molly will start taking yoga classes.

Lloyd finds Slug, and calls Steve and Becky. They have Slug bound, and they're holding his drugs to get him to help them out. Steve does something bold and calls DC Hooch with a threat to meet him in the car park. He threatens to take down DC Hooch with Slug as their witness. DC Hooch didn't look very threatened and told Becky he'd see her in court. How will this all end? Not without a huff.

Peter has a woman, Naomi, over after a night in the Rovers and Ken and Simon walk in on them, as Blanche would say, "inflagranti" in the living room. Peter's all excited to have a new woman in his life and invites her over to meet Simon to get to know him. Naomi's not very interested in meeting Simon, so Peter gives her the boot. It's good of him to put his son first, but at the same time - it was only their second date!

Joe meets his court date, and is sentenced with community service.

HIGHLIGHTS:

- Tyrone saying he'd go to Connie's house "over my dead body." And Molly responding, "If necessary, get your coat!" LOL.
- Jack deciding to move in with Connie, and Tyrone finally accepting it.
- Lloyd tackling Slug to the ground. I felt like I was watching a copper show!
- Peter Barlow's inflagranti scene and Simon's face in reaction.
- Peter putting Simon's needs before his own.
- Blanche being interested in Naomi because she's a qualified nurse. "Imagine having a qualified nurse in the family. It'd be like having private health care."

LOWLIGHTS
- Kevin and Molly looking for new excuses to meet up and continue their clandestine affair. Just shameless.
- DC Hooch and his cocky confidence.
