JUSTIN GETS DAISY ALONE Fearful that Justin may have found out the date of their wedding, Daisy calls the venue and reschedules. The owner of the boutique calls at the pub and tells Daisy that they’ve had a call from Justin accusing her of assault and they’re no longer prepared to lend her a dress as the publicity could damage their reputation. Daisy’s gutted. When Daniel makes light of it Daisy’s furious and storms off. Back at No.1, she hears the doorbell. She checks her app and is horrified to see it’s Justin. Daisy orders him to clear off but when she returns to the living room, she’s shocked to find Justin standing there having got in the back door. Daisy’s terrified.

KIRK GIVES BETH THE COLD SHOULDER A contrite Beth hands Fiz a letter for Hope. Fiz reads it and promises to pass it on. Meanwhile, on Maria's advice, Beth sets out to remind Kirk that she’s a good person underneath. As she shows him some mementos from their relationship and tells him how much she loves him, Kirk’s touched, but asks for more time.

AMY WORRIES SUMMER WHICH WORRIES AARON Having had an awful night’s sleep and missed her lecture, Steve worries about Amy. Unable to come up with an excuse, Amy agrees to meet Summer for a drink. But when she realises Aaron is there too and has invited a mate, she makes excuses and leaves.

ELSEWHERE Aware that she’s been avoiding him lately, Faye agrees to a night out with her Dad. But when her phone buzzes with a message from Jackson, she quickly covers.

I had forgotten about Faye and Craigy (thankfully)..now if only Summer would skip away and then get to some stories that are interesting.
I'm just curious...with all of the youngster stuff going on, I wonder how many young people actually watch Corrie? I don't know of too many who won't groan if you mention the name.Borrrrring is what I hear? So why are so many storylines aimed at that audience.
....and what's up with the murders and crime on the street...is it to keep Craigy in the picture (he appears to be one of the only officers besides his partner Jess)
Enough is enough....the most dangerous street in Northern England......and you'd better watch your drink in the pub when Stephen's around.

I guess the reason they feature young people's storylines is because they want to attract that age of audience.
The Amy/ Aaron flat share is becoming like a student hang out, where student life and problems are shown.
But Fay, Craig, Summer and Aaron are pretty drab characters. At least Kelly had spark.
Last year, when Seb was killed, that was an issue led plot but I'm not sure if anyone under the age of 20 was tuning in.
Whether they get young people watching it because of these issue themed plot lines is a different matter!
