Conversation Street Podcast Episode #568

On our latest podcast, we chat about what went on in Corrie between the 20th and the 24th March (Episodes #10906 - 10911).

All in all, we thought this was a great week of Corrie this week, with very little in the way of filler or stories that didn't hold our interest. From the hilarious contrast between Daniel's stag and Daisy's hen-do to the sizzling chemistry between Sarah and Damon, we were pretty much glued to our screens all week. But of course, it was Evelyn saying her last goodbye to loyal hound Cerberus that really got us in the feels - losing a beloved pet is an experience so many of us have been though, and Maureen Lipman's performance was pitched perfectly. Also this week, Aaron moves in with Abi, Paul gets some worrying medical news, and Stephen's killer hole punch returns!

Up next on the podcast, it's the Kabin, where we carefully make our way through the minefield of spoilers that Corrie and other media sources been trumpeting this week to give you a few bits of other news, including Corrie's BAFTA nomination snub and a request for a cameo on the cobbles from a very unexpected source! We then finish off the podcast with more of your fantastic feedback.

In this week's bonus podcast, we chat about the character of Eve Elliott, second wife of beloved butcher Fred, who ruled the roost at the Rovers for a short period in early 2002 before being unveiled as a bigamist. Definitely not one of Corrie's most memorable characters, but after just having rewatched her entire tenure on the ITV3 repeats, Michael's found a newfound appreciation of Eve, so we thought it was time to give her some credit and dedicate an episode just to her!
