Since Imram is dead and Alfie is her son,why would Abi have to go to court to get custody of him?
Toyah has no parental rights to the child and now there is a possibility she could be arrested for Imram's death so by rights.Alfie should be returned to his mother and not with the Battersby-Tilsely family.
Because in the eyes of the law, Abi was found not to be a fit mother, due to alleged drug use. Until that ruling is overturned, with the emergence of the truth, then Alfie won't automatically go to Abi
