Coronation Street's Helen Worth and Antony Cotton are being awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
Helen Worth is being recognised for her services to drama having played Corrie favourite Gail for almost 48 years.
She said: “It was a huge surprise to learn that I had been nominated for an MBE. To be honoured for doing something I have enjoyed so much for so many years is truly wonderful, and I am particularly delighted to receive this award in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Year.”
Antony Cotton's MBE comes for services to the British Army, personnel and veterans.
