Time for a divorce, Steve

Becky well and truly reverted to her old ways tonight. Going on a rampage and insulting pretty much everyone, further destroying Steve's life, because of her, he's lost two friendships (Lloyd and Dev), his own mother has been driven away, his whole empire is on the verge of going under, and all Becky cares about - as per - is her self.

I never thought I'd be saying this, but right now? Tracy is the lesser of two evils. Surely Steve can't stand by Becky any longer, she's a despicable person, feeding off Steve as if he is some sort of ATM, and when he comes up with insufficent funds? Well she just throws every thing right back at him.

Do you agree? If so (or even if not) give us your opinions in the comments section below, or tweet us (@corrie_blogger) or me (@weatherfieldrec)

Totally agree. I don't know if we're supposed to feel sorry for her, but I certainly can't stand her. Steve is still brilliant, and I hope TPTB split them up fast.

I really, really don't care. Get rid of Becky, Tracy and Kylie and bring in some interesting characters, not caricatures.

I enjoyed it in 2005 when Steve & Tracy were together. They actually made a good couple while it lasted. Best moment was when they arranged to meet at a restaurant and Tracy & Amy locked themselves in the flat and Steve returned later thinking he'd been stood up and found them trapped in the hallway.

I actually agree, Tracy seemed more human then, but I think Steve was leading her on at the time (which was around the time Ray died)

How about someone NICE for Steve for a change of pace? Gawd, his choices have been awful!!

Bring back Karen!!

Steve ended his relationship with Karen because of her silly mistake of leading him to believe that she had burnt a car with Amy inside. In the end it was Karen's selfishness that forced Steve to ask her to leave, despite all the antics that Tracy had caused in the 18 months lesding up to her departure.

And we're probably seeing Becky's selfishness actions as well. It will be her actions that will see Steve ask her to leave as well, and what a coincidence Tracy will be causing antics in the run-up to the break-up of their marriage.

I'm not saying Tracy is a saint in that it's a coincidence that she's in Steve's life while his last two marriages have been on their last legs, but she's definitely not the cause of the deteroriation in them. The problems were apparent before she tried to get close to Steve and at the end of the day, he couldn't help but end up despising Karen. One would hope that we aren't going to see Tracy as the catalyst to a potential Becky exit, but it could definitely be there if she's staying on into next year (last I heard Katherine Kelly was contracted until 2011, so until I hear otherwise, I'm almost expecting Tracy in aroundabout way to cause Becky's exit).

I was really liking Becky. She was cheap, tacky and street. It all went down hill for me once Kylie showed up.

I found Becky absolutely repulsive last night and could not understand how Steve could even want to be in the same room as her, lt alone stay wed to her, she is just filth. I think the character has now become untenable and has to go. At least Tracy is reasonably good looking, Becky is an absolute dog and that's an insult to all the Schmeikels out there.

I've hated Becky from the moment she returned to the Street and hooked up with Steve. She is so unconvincing as a character, and is so self-obsessed that I don't know how anyone can like her. The way she was chugging down whiskey and vodka in last night's episodes in real life she'd be dead.

And she certainly fights well, considering how paralytic she was meant to be. And wasn't the blood make up done poorly, especially once it was supposed to have dried. And yet curiously, not a mark on her once she had finally cleaned herself up.

The sooner the actress leaves for good, the better as far as I am concerned. She ruins the programme for me.

The sooner she's gone, the better. True colours are showing - and it isn't pretty.

God last night was like watching a road accident in slow motion.....very painful.

She's way too OTT.

Grow some back bone Steve and get shot of her!

I only enjoyed watching Becky when she first arrived as Kelly's skanky mate - and even then in very small doses. Now I agree, it's time she went.

Have to agree with everyone else. Had to fast-forward through a lot of the scenes with Becky. Not entertaining, fun, sad, or funny. Just pure annoying, unfortunately. Steve and Liz, on the other hand, are great. The best scenes last night were those at Eileen's.

Agree with everyone else she has to go, last night was hard work

I love Becky's bits with Royston and Hayls but having her go on a drunken bender and then fight with Steve is tiresome. I think it would be best if they parted.

Becky is a legend because of what she did last night, I'm not excusing her actions but I find her enjoying and frightening at the same time. Her montrous behaviour on top of the Becky we all know and love just makes the character even more powerful than she should be. She helped me stand up to my bullies by punching one, I got away with it because I said why. Anyway thats not really the point I love Becky and you can just go and have fun watching weaklings fall over and allow people not just a person step all over someone cause it seems like you love that sort of stuff!!!!!
