Is Ray's development empire/street demolition finally going to crash? The twists and turns of this story have brought oodles of drama to Weatherfield. It's a good example of strong character development. However, his position as #No.1 money-mad megalomaniac is looking rather precarious, and so is Faye’s fate, come to think of it! Tonight, That onus is on Adam as Faye lightens her load and admits her guilt to the solicitor. It’s an emotional scene, and not without a certain pathos that Corrie is getting incredibly good at delivering, albeit in droves. Why Faye mistook Adam for Ray, even in a powercut, I still have no idea!
Abi also has good reason to ruin Ray, and her involvement in halting the development couldn’t have been more obvious. With her previous prison record though will this conveniently caught phone video evidence stack-up and bring him down? The sex offenders register seems to be the deal closure he could do without, and it’s more ammunition for the residents to throw at him! I liked Alya’s involvement in this too. Aside from dealing with Yasmeen struggling at speed daal of course. A stark reminder that, although she collared Ray on Monday night, Yasmeen still has some way to go before returning to normality, as we all do! Glad to see Elaine helping out but it is interesting, considering she was also convalescing in a mental health ward, not that long ago?
Gail getting under Nick’s feet after 24 hours was quite funny, wasn’t it? The ‘forest murmurs’ white noise app gag (!) was a tad tedious I thought. I did like David still hanging on her for nanny duty. That was it in terms of comedy tonight, anyway.
Can we see longtime sofa surfer Sean finally getting his own place? He was homeless for a bit due to money management issues, and in this covid climate, well, let us hope this make-up pyramid scheme is successful! Asking Chesney for the funds, considering he has five children to feed, is typical of Sean! Micheal Bailey's voice of reason will have fallen on deaf ears, undoubtedly. It is a good plot idea though! We all know people who sell that stuff over on Facebook! With the economic nightmare of a pandemic reverberating around the world, I hope Corrie can do this justice. As I mentioned before, I feel that Chesney and Gemma are an example of a real working-class couple on the street. I think those two characters can deliver this powerful poverty storyline well. Just hoping Sean Tully doesn't sully the situation too much.
Which brings me back to Ray...
If the residents find any more ammunition to throw on Ray, they will be able to blow up those houses themselves! Maybe Debbie Webster can get the business signed over to herself and get the revenge everyone is after! If she teams up with Abi she that could appease Kevin in the process!
Not without Abi being in a bit of danger, I imagine.

Why has Gail turned into this dithering simpleton? She used to be fiesty and opinionated.
I can't wait to see how they will all get their homes back and how Ray gets what is coming to him. I hope he gets locked up and the key gets thrown away.
I quite liked the white noise app thing. Including small, trivial details about characters give them more depth, I think.
The Abi/Ray plot, I don't believe she will keep her part of the bargain. If he does turn himself in for attacking Faye, she'll then produce the incriminating recording.

Faye whacking Adam whom she mistook for Ray is a ridiculous story line, surpassed only by everyone pretty much giving her a free pass despite almost killing him! Only makes sense in Corrie World where a life-threatening injury is cleared up and forgotten in a few days. Unless you're a sweet little cherub in which case your death scene drags on for months. Yes, like Mary I'm a big Adam fan. Faye not so much; she's always been a bit of a self-justifying psycho and Gary and Maria aren't making this tendency any better. Here fish, fish, fish--do you want some of this yummy poisoned food, just right for beloved little pond fish like you?!
