Time is running out for the residents of Weatherfield this September.
As Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) and DS Swain (Vicky Myers) come together to try and take Joel Deering (Calum Lill) down for his attack and abuse of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) it looks like Joel has other ideas as he plots to escape his crimes. But as Joel calculates, seemingly so sure of himself, will a heartbroken Dee-Dee find the strength to bring him to justice?
Paul (Peter Ash) meanwhile is all too aware there’s no escape for him as his devastating battle with Motor Neurone Disease continues. Knowing Paul’s time is coming to an end, Billy’s (Daniel Brocklebank) desperate to make every second count as he holds onto his love for Paul. But when Paul is rushed to hospital, whilst being cared for by Bernie and Summer, the race is on to get Billy to his bedside to say his final goodbye.
And elsewhere Nick’s (Ben Price) tangled love life is a secret living on borrowed time as he fights to keep his affair with Leanne’s (Jane Danson) sister Toyah (Georgia Taylor) hidden from his fiance. Knowing their indiscretion will blow their family apart, can Nick continue to keep a lid on this ticking time bomb?
