Conversation Street Podcast Episode #560

Here we are again, with Episode #560 of the podcast, where we talk about what went on in Weatherfield between the 23rd and the 26th January (Episodes #10858 - 10863)

After last week's cliffhanger of Audrey driving off to the Peak District with a dead body strapped to the roof, we must admit that it was a bit of a disappointment to see the car right back outside Number 8 on Monday's episode. The scene with Stephen desperately trying to make the roof box sink into the canal later on did make us laugh, we admit, but is that what Corrie's going for with this storyline? We discuss the evidence! Meanwhile, it's Alya to the rescue again when Blake gets a bit stabby in the Bistro on Wednesday - but will Weatherfield's latest superhero manage to survive the second extremist attack in a month? Also this week, Tyrone and Fiz dress up for a bit of role play, Daisy's mum comes to town, and there's a chinchilla killer on the loose!

Next up on the podcast it's time for The Kabin, where we see how Mollie Gallagher got on in her first week on the ice and take a look at the synopsis for Maggie Sullivan's latest Corrie novel. We round things off with more of your fabulous feedback.

For this week's bonus podcast, we take an in-depth look at the character of Bev Unwin, the flirty barmaid mother of Shelley with a bit of an eye for the younger man! During her main stint in the show in the early 2000s, Bev mostly played a supporting role in her daughter's various dramas, but she's still someone who a lot of Corrie fans look back fondly on, and were pleased to see return to the show for a spell in 2015 - although the circumstances that saw her back on the cobbles were certainly not what anyone would have wanted...
