Ken Barlow's new girlfriend Martha will be putting in an appearance on Coronation Street soon. Played by Hollywood glamour-puss Stephanie Beacham, Martha arrives in Ken's life when he stumbles across her tow path down by the canal.And as the two of them grow close, Ken will lie to Martha and tell her that he's a widower and Deirdre Barlow is dead!
