Strong, dark, mouthy, pushy, full of herself and nobody's fool, ready to put the world to rights with another lashing of lipstick.
Has Coronation Street finally found the new Elsie Tanner in Carla Connor? I'm starting to think that perhaps they might have.
Missed Corrie this week?

I know what you mean but I won't be able to agree until we see Carla in her slip putting on her lippy.
I agree full heartedly. Carla Connor (refuse to call her Gordon) is my favourite Corrie character and does echo the legend that is Elsie Tanner. Long may Carla be in the soap. Going to miss her whilst Alison is on maternity leave, she's an asset to the show.
Possibly. Sunny Jim....nobody wears slips much these days, you'll have to be content with a basque ;) Gotta move with the times and after all, she *does* sell underwear!
And her nighty was used as an almost murder weapon!
The Earl, Reginald thinks Carla Connor is absolutely marvellous and a shining star of Corrie!!!
I say...comparing Carla with Elsie Tanner is a big mistake!Carla has her own shine and is a star in her own right!
Myself and James McTaggart were out shooting and fox hunting at the weekend, as well as discussing our frivolous pastimes, James mentioned to me that he had seen a classic television soap called 'Coronation Street' and found himself 'a huge fan of Carla Connor!'
We agreed to disagree while pigeon shooting! Reginald's favourite Corrie character is Michelle (Kym Marsh)because the Rovers Return wouldn't be the same without her!
They are both 'Strong, dark, mouthy, pushy, full of herself and nobody's fool, ready to put the world to rights with another lashing of lipstick.' Every Tories'perfect wife!
