The official Coronation Street website is reporting that Andrew Sachs has signed up to play Norris Cole's half-brother called Ramsay Clegg. Ramsay is the illegitimate son of Norris's mother, who gave birth to him when she was a teenager.Ramsay Clegg, eh? What a fantastic name for a Corrie character.

Is he Les Clegg's (Maggie's husband, sister of Betty) son? Now that would be a turn up for the books and it could bring Betty into the storyline!

I recognise the surname Clegg as a relation to Betty from the pub? If that was still true, and he was Norris' half-brother, that would be a classic but odd Corrie storyline
That is the surname of Betty's sister! It would be good if Ramsay and Norris were related to Betty! Imagine if Ramsay was Betty's half brother too!
I think perhaps it'd be too much of a coincidence, but hey, you never know!
