The scaffold's going up and the cladding's coming down at No. 9 Coronation Street. When this was first mentioned, tabloids said that ITV might consider selling the cladding to fans for charity. So how much would you pay to own a bit of Vera's cladding? And which would you prefer - a stony bit of yellow or a lumpy bit of blue?

How much would you bid for a bit of Vera's cladding?

I'd definitely go for the blue, as then you know exactly what it is when you see it. That would be my first choice but I'd like one of each. As to what I'd pay for it, well it depends how many they're auctioning off. If they auction off only a few of them, then it will cost a bomb, but if they auction it all off i might get a good bit. To own a piece of Corrie history like that... Im' going to say £200.
Great picture by the way!
Really, you'd paid £200? Crikey. I'd pay maximum £30.
Well I don't know how much they'd be going for... Id rather pay £30 than £200 though! Plus it's a piece of Corrie history.
We don't know for sure yet that it will be auctioned off for fans. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up in a skip.
Then I would raid the skip!
Well, it looks like the cladding is staying put. For now.
Yeah i'm not quite sure how to feel about that...
