What does it take to be a Corrie woman?

Essential: Big hair and even bigger ear-rings. The bigger and brassier of both, the better.

Must like a drop, or two, to drink. Be prepared to blurt out indiscretions while under the influence of one too many and/or cop off with unsuitable blokes.

Got to have a best mate to swap secrets - and blokes - with.

From Elsie Tanner to Carla Connor, Corrie women have always had bags of of attitude. It's just that in Carla Connor's case, the bags are designer this time around.

And of course, no Coronation Street woman would be complete without their very own feckless fella. And tear-proof mascara.

Any more suggestions?
