Regular readers (hello, mum) will know by now that Rita is my all-time favourite female Coronation Street character. She always has been and as long as she's on the cobbles, she always will be. So I hope you'll indulge me a blog post in her honour every now and then and she certainly deserves one now. All this nasty business with Colin Grimshaw might have knocked the wind out of Rita's sails but Barbara Knox once again shows what a class act she is and what depth Rita's got.See also:
