News just in from the cobbles to the blog is that Ken's floating fun palace sails away from Corrie next month, with Martha Fraser on it. Stephanie Beacham, who plays Martha Fraser, has done a sterling job on the Street and she'll be missed by this fan. Will Deirdre find out about Ken's secret romance before Martha sails away? Ooh, I do hope so. I can't wait for the show-down at the Barlow tea-table and think it's about time Deirdre got a new fella of her own.See also: Eileen Grimshaw's dad killed off.

Stephanie Beacham is the BEST - why is she leaving the show!!!! PLEASE KEEP HER ON. I love the show but she adds so much and is sooooooooooooo good. Fans would love to see her stay on with Ken, happily - cannot get enough of Stephanie Beacham
