I can see where David gets his sneakiness from: Lady Aud of Grasmere plonks her thermometer in David's coffee in order to appear ill. Gail has booked her an appointment with the doctor that Audrey doesn't go to. I want to register for Rosamund Street Medical Centre, since when can anyone else get a same day GP appointment? Perhaps Dr G works 168 hours a week? I do hope Audrey cancelled that appointment so someone else could have it. She instead takes David for ice-cream down the precinct where he sees Shona chatting to Adam, who then denies seeing young Barlow.
Talking of sneaky, Daisy is hanging around both Matty (Mason's big bruv) who is accused of nicking Debbie's car and then Shona, who talks about her broken arm. Daisy is a very bad criminal, saying at least Shona was hit by a convertible and not a van. Come on, Daisy! She covers, saying Kit told her but Shona is onto her and Daisy has to 'fess up. Shona then tackles Kit re: his cover up of the accident; Kit counters this by threatening to tell David about their one night stand.
Lauren is told that Frankie has severe aplastic anaemia, which means low white blood cells or is it red (it's actually both), and needs a bone marrow transplant. Does that mean more ghastly granny and grandad? Could they be a match for donation? Gus tells Lauren that they've applied for custody. Lauzza then finds out she can't be a donor for Frankie and says maybe Ganthea should take care of Frankie.
The Batterbsy babes want to take the £60K offer from the abattoir, Chesney wants to sue. Gemma, wearing a very peculiar wig, returns from her holiday and tells Ches they need to take the offer as they need the money and there are a lot of things they can't afford: "fancy handcream, putting the heating on and justice." Ches refuses to take "blood money". Surely all proceeds from an abattoir is blood money?! I wonder if Chesney's nemesis, the white van, is going to end up belonging to the abattoir?
Swarla goes for a massage, but it's not Swarla, it Carla and Swain having separate treatments in separate rooms and Debbie says she wishes more friends would come in to have a gin o'clock girlie afternoon. Swain starts to correct her, but Carla's not ready to come out yet. Later, Carla invites Swain (and Betsy) around for Christmas, but warns her that she doesn't peel sprouts but instead gets a takeaway. Is Prima Doner open on Xmas Day??
