ITV have confirmed they are in talks with Shobna Gulati to return to Coronation Street as Sunita Alahan. The official Corrie website reports that Corrie bosses have confirmed they are talking to actress Shobna Gulati about returning to the show as Dev's wife Sunita Alahan - but no contract has yet been signed.A show spokesman said: "Talks have been going on, but nothing has been signed and sealed."

It's now been confirmed at ITV.com that Sunita will be returning, and has signed a new contract, although filming is not scheduled to start until October!
