I'm going for Tony or Tony's henchman. Tony's probably going to find out about liam's affair with Maria cause you know, a soap doesn't keep secrets for long. i heard liam was going to "fall off" a balcony of one of the new flats. pushed or fallen? I figure if it's Tony, we viewers may know but the "official" word on the show will be that it was an accident. until more accidents start happening...

Samia Smith and Alison King have made it very clear they're going nowhere so straight away by process of elimination, I think it must be Tony.
Here's a thought: Tony could do it and frame someone for it - Carla? Maybe... Maria> Possibly... Or maybe even make it look like suicide.
We've already seen Tony throw a glass down in anger at finding out that Carla had once kissed Liam... How would he react when he {inevitably} finds out that they have slept together?
Oh well, those are my theories anyway.
I definitely think Tony will be behind it though i think the truth won't come out for awhile. Liam's death will be marked down to an accident but the viewers will know the truth.
I really hope it's not Carla, as i will not find it plausable in the slightest. Why would she kill the man she loves? Maria or Tony in a jealous rage? That sounds far more accurate.
Ah, but does Carla love Tony as much as she thinks she does?
