Bad boy bookie Peter Barlow is coming back to Coronation Street. Hang on your handbags. I always liked watching Peter on Corrie, and think it's great he's returning but it's a bit sad that the bookies in place now are going to leave.

I'm quite pleased. I like the character. Apparently he's bringing his son with him. No word yet on where Lucy is. She left town with the baby and without Peter. I think they should say she's died and he's a single full time parent. With Liam on the way out, how much you wanna bet Peter and Maria play house?
I wonder why Peter's ended up with Lucy's child? Where's Lucy?
indeed. My speculation....Lucy died. car crash maybe. Peter has custody. we know the Masons are leaving so that leaves it open for Peter to buy it back. Moves into flat with Simon. And.... we know that Liam is going to be killed off and Peter had a fling with Maria around the time of Tracy's trial. Therefore, consoling and moving in together eventually?
Diane - that's a funny thing you said about Lucy maybe having died in a car crash... Is dying in car crashes in Australia going to become a Barlow family tradition - David Barlow! Aha he died in a car crash in Australia!
Anyway, I'm glad Peter is coming back, Chris Gascogne an extremely talented actor, and I can see him having a few storylines to himself.
You never know, Lucy might even return with him...
Yes lol well there is that tradition isn't there :/ The news releases have said no Lucy, at least not now. I can't imagine her letting Peter take the little boy without a very good reason, though. Not after what he'd done. She was determined to keep the lad away from him so something must have happened to her.
Peter and Maria - dull, dull, dull... zzzzzz.. Now then, Lucy coming back - that'd be great! She was so insipid I just wanted to slap her every time she came on screen.
Well if they put him together with Dozy Webster I shall write a sternly worded letter to ITV.
Oh no, not Dozy Webster! I'll be blogging a bit about her in this week's coming update as Outraged of Oldham. Has the girl got no morals? No bra that will fit her? Where's Mary Whitehouse when you need her?! :-)
