Spoiler pics: Liz and Jim's daughter Katie starts filming

There are paparazzi pictures online this week showing Coronation Street filming with Liz and Jim McDonald's daughter Katie.

We're not putting the pictures here on the blog but if you'd like to see them, they're at Digital Spy.

Australian actress Hannah Ellis Ryan has been cast in the role of Katie, Liz and Jim's daughter that they assumed had died at just one day old.

New Pics: Has Corrie killed off Mel?

Yesterday we posted a link to paparazzi pictures showing Bethany fighting with Mel in a new twist in the grooming storyline.  You can find out more here.

And since then, more paparazzi pictures have emerged showing Colson Smith, as Craig Tinker, being called to the scene wearing his police uniform.

It appears as if young Craig has to ID a body that has been left on the train tracks. I can't imagine for one minute that it'd be Bethany that Coronation Street are killing off, not after the long summer of the grooming storyline and the way in which actress Lucy Fallon most surely deserve every award that comes her way.

And so, I wonder if they're killing off Mel or perhaps the other young girl, Lara? Someone who is involved in the grooming storyline who isn't in jail and banged up. That rules out, I would think, Nathan and Neil.

It doesn't seem to have got any easier for the show with photographers chasing them, I'd imagine, for gossip and pictures on the stories. Now, I love spoilers, I really love them and I'll always link to paparazzi pictures because I enjoy knowing what's coming in advance, but I know not everyone feels the same. So, apologies. But I do wish Corrie would close down the paparazzi and film in locations that they're not allowed access to.

Shock Corrie pics as Nathan gets arrested

There are paparazzi pictures online again this week. And this time they show Nathan Curtis being arrested - after fighting with Bethany in Coronation Street.

Corrie cast and crew were working out on location this week for the scenes which saw Nathan arrested.

Christopher Harper (Nathan) and Lucy Fallon (Bethany) were spotted filming a violent scuffle at a burger bar. Nathan was dragged away by two police officers - but will this really be the end of his abuse?

Lucy Fallon revealed this week that the grooming storyline will run until the autumn, so it's unlikely that Nathan's arrest will mean the end of him, sadly.

Coronation Street film a funeral. Whose... Drew's?

Earlier today we posted on the topic of the paparazzi and Coronation Street.

You can read more on that here.

And guess what? Today, more paparazzi pictures emerge.

This time, it's a funeral that has been filmed in the sunshine of Weatherfield.  And Billy the vicar looks to be one of the mourners, rather than being in his official duty and officiating at the service.

Therefore, putting two and two together, it's no stretch to guess that the funeral must be that of Billy's ex-fella Drew.

What will the passing of Drew mean for the future of his daughter, Summer? And if Billy wants to take Summer on as his own, what will Todd decide to do when he's already said he doesn't want kids?

An interesting dilemma for Billy and Todd.

Too many paparazzi shots of Coronation Street?

Now then, I love a good behind-the-scenes photograph as much as the next Coronation Street fan, but lately there seem to have been too many coming out in the press.

When Coronation Street go out shooting on location, the paparazzi tend to follow the Corrie vans to their destination. Then they take their snaps, sell them to the press and they end up online as spoilers.  But it seems as if Corrie is being "papped" much more often lately. Over the last few weeks we've seen many storylines exposed through paparazzi pictures going online. 

Does anyone know why this should be happening more frequently. Is it because Corrie is a currency that is increasing its value as it goes to six days a week and therefore pictures will always sell? 

Is it because paparazzi cameras are becoming ever more powerful so that even from distances of up to half a mile away, they can still see what's going on at outside filming and take their pics?

Might it be that Corrie is doing more outside filming than it ever did before, giving the paparazzi more opportunities to take their pics and sell them?

Or could it be a combination of all three, I wonder?  Whatever it is, it seems to be happening with an increasing frequency these days.

Shock pictures as Shona is beaten up in Coronation Street

There are paparazzi pictures online today showing a blood-soaked Shona Ramsey.

The Mirror have the pics and they say that Shona is "left for dead after she's brutally attacked by two men."

Shona is picture trying to use her mobile phone when she's set upon by the two men who throw her to the ground before giving her a good kicking and steal her phone.

The pictures are pretty grisly and show the injuries sustained by Shona, as blood pours from her nose and the side of her head.

The scenes were filmed in Manchester, with actress Julia Goulding taking part in a number of stunts as she's thrown onto a crash mat on the ground.

But could it be just a random attack, or is there a link to evil Nathan, I wonder?
