Before we move back to reality as the consultant confirms the presence of a tumour on the baby’s neck, and explains that if they decide to continue with the pregnancy, Shona will have to undergo complex surgery. As the consultant reveals that their daughter’s tumour could be cancerous, how will a shell-shocked Shona and David respond?

Is Kevin in competition with Billy for the bushiest beard?
I really enjoyed the Shona/David section of the episode. It was very effective the way everything fitted together eg: first implying that David didn't go to the hospital and then showing that he actually did. What it said to me was that when Corrie pulls the stops out, taking time over the writing and directing, we get fantastic episodes - similar to Gail's monologue after Aidan's death. Most of the time, everything seems rushed and slung together.
I didn't care for the Shona/David stuff at the beginning..I don't need to know what they're thinking, that's why I read.
Yes, I reckon they could both get jobs as father Christmas! Is playing poker really Billy's sort of thing? I would thought Dev or even new guy Ben would be there instead of billy.
Gary and Steve would be more suitable but they are away.
Micheal playing, with his dad having a gambling problem? I wasn't too sure about that...
Yes the poker night was ridiculous. Totally out of character for all of them especially Sally.
