Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley in Coronation Street, is leaving the show.
She said: “My time at Coronation Street is something I’ll always cherish. After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities.”

Another sad exit as Daisy is a fresh air in the show!
This is actually quite shocking news. I thought we had a lot of Daisy storylines coming up and she was set to become a regular character. She's also a bit of candy, so was this her decision or was she axed?
I'm sure it was her decision, as there's a great future out there for her.
Blimey, what's going on tonight? Everyone's leaving the Street, there'll be no one left at this rate! There's quite a few characters that need culling, but Daisy wasn't one of them.
