Shona hasn't had a great time since she moved to the Street. I know evenings down the Dog and Gun with Dane Hibbs probably weren’t much fun, but since she's moved to the cobbles she's been shot, attacked by nasty Nathan's goons, dealt with Clayton's prison break and now kidnapped. And on top of that she's married to David (who has been to Audrey's since we last saw him).
Weatherfield PD has had some cuts - DC Kit is on the front desk rather than paying an extra to say: "How can I help you sir" a desk sergeant. He's not terribly helpful to David, but it doesn't matter as Shona is only kidnapped until the half time break, but not before David has told the rest of the extended Platts why Shona has been targeted. Shona says she doesn't want to make a statement but that doesn't stop the house being attacked by an airgun versus a window. Shona, Max and Lily move into Redbank with Sarah. Dave getting other people to look after his kids once again!
Litter picking in the middle of Storm Eowyn probably isn't much fun although Leanne's supervisor is quite excited that she has her first fraudster. Leanne isn't taking it terribly well though and she returns to the Bistro demanding champagne and tries to chat up builders, loudly. I have enjoyed her return to Ur-Battersby the last few episodes rather than the normal sobbing Leanne. Can't be long before she's setting fire to things, à la Valandro's though. She is rude to Toyah and even ruder to Sam and Nick won't let her in when she turns up to Victoria Court to apologise.
Alya the trainee solicitor and Adam come round to no.1 whilst Cassie is up to her tricks of dosing Ken and buying hair straighteners (not sure bank statements detail purchases as well as vendors, but let's go with it) although she claims they are for Tracy. Adam tries to warn Ken but he asks Mama Cass to move in instead.
Things are finally looking up for Gemma and Ches as they receive Les's compo money and Chesney books a holiday in Spain, plus Bernie and Dev (Devnie from now on) are celebrating their engagement. I guess the kebab-guzzling denizens of Weatherfield are going hungry whilst the Alahan-Battersby-Winter-Browns are in the pub. This lasts precisely half an hour until the rozzers turn up at number 5 about the van that Chesney vandalised.
And finally, Kev tells Dev about his potential cancer and Abi seems to be dealing with it, until we see her seeing Ghost Seb in the kitchen window.

I don't understand why Leeanne was doing community service on her own, unsupervised. Surely she'd be in a group with someone making sure they actually carried out the task? Lovely to have some cheerful news with Dev and Bernie's engagement and Nina has been brought back in again.
