On our latest podcast, we chat about the episodes of Corrie shown in the UK between the 26th and the 30th September 2022 (Episodes #10753 - 10758).
We'd been looking forward to Monday's episode ever since we got the chance to go to the studios and see some scenes filmed back in August, and it certainly didn't disappoint! Having been stood mere metres away from actor Todd Boyce as he was dragging Leo's lifeless body across the cobbles of Brewery Lane, we knew that we were in for an exciting week, but even we weren't prepared for just how tense some of those scenes would be as the enormity of what Stephen has done dawns on him... The big question is though, will he kill again, and who could his potential victims be..? Also this week, the much anticipated Dee-Dee Bailey makes her debut after years of speculation from us on the podcast about what she'd be like - did she live up to expectations? All that, plus the fallout from last week's rooftop drama, Evelyn's shift at the charity shop and a great twist in Stu's storyline when he finally comes face to face with the detective who put him behind bars... Definitely a good week!
Up next on the podcast, we take a quick trip to The Kabin, where there's some happy news for Lucy Fallon and the Week 1 update on how Corrie alumni Will Mellor and Kym Marsh are getting on on Strictly Come Dancing. We end the show with some listener feedback, and your thoughts on last week's rooftop shenanigans and some initial impressions of Stephen's new role as the Street's latest killer...

In this week's bonus podcast, we chat about our experience of seeing this week's scenes in Gary and Maria's flat being filmed, along with a Rovers scene from a couple of weeks ago and the moment that Stephen drags Leo's corpse into the van.. We actually recorded most of this podcast back in August, and it comes in two parts: first, something we recorded before we went into the studios, where we gave our predictions for what we would see based on rumours we'd heard. After that, our recount of what we experienced while we were behind the scenes, including bloopers, how scenes changed during rehearsals and our reactions to that shock death!
