We all found out on Wednesday that Stu has a killer for a daughter and a law-breaking. lying ex-wife; much of tonight was the impact as the rest of the Nazir family caught up with the plot. Stu does not want to tell the police as Charley's family believe that justice has already been served. He also tells Bridget not to hand herself in - Stu is thinking Eliza needs her mother.
Dee Dee is able to tell Alya that the additional DNA found on the bag is a 50% match to Stu and half to Lucy. It takes Alya about a century to work out that the DNA must be Bridget's. The police lose no time in using the new evidence to visit Stu at Yasmeen's and ask if he knows where Bridget might be found. Rather than admitting she is upstairs using the bathroom he dissembles until she appears on the landing and is taken off by the police.
Stu blames Yasmeen but after he has finished shouting at her, Alya admits her involvement and Stu starts shouting the odds at her instead. Stu heads to the police station where Lucy is also being held and affords him a piece of her mind (above) about Stu having Eliza - but Eliza ends up at the Nazir house later as Alya vacates her room to stay at Matt's.
Max is also found innocent by the police who return his phone and laptop as there is no evidence proving that he is sadboy55 who has been trolling Maria. The policeman advises David that he might have some apologies to offer. David remains unsure that he is wrong. My guess is that it is Max's school "friends" who are responsible. David's face looks like he has been slapped with a wet fish for the last six weeks. Gail is sure that Max will forgive David one day before watching "Four in a Bed".
Tim and Sally have booked a date night tonight at the Bistro and at breakfast both of them are looking forward to it. A little later Sally (with a particularly short haircut) is dance-ercising in the living room when Tim returns home and joins her in a workout. He then takes her upstairs for an entirely different type of workout and we later get satisfied reports from both of them. They profess their unalterable love for each other.
Date night starts badly as they are late at the Bistro and Debbie has let the table go. However Ed and Aggie invite them to join their table and Debs accepts the additional business as Sally notes Aggie's nice new necklace! Sal is on an absolute high, ordering champers and Tim sends someone a text message - but Aggie has not received it - Sal has and she reads it out: "Finally did the deed with Sally. Couldn't have got through the last few months without you. X". As Sally observes that Tim rarely adds a kiss to a message it can only mean one thing - that Tim and Aggie are having an affair. Sally storms off.
Ed wants some answers too and Aggie admits to the friendship and the gift of the necklace. Ed however takes a positive view and one household is back to normal. Chez Metcalfe Tim has to prove his innocence and Sally reads his messages to/from Aggie - including his thanks to Aggie for choosing the silver necklace. Sally rages at Tim for his emotional and mental affair with Aggie and then tells him to sleep in the spare room.
Bernie has decided that joining a cleaning agency will bring in the money she needs and tells Fern that she does not need any more help. Fern turns up later and sends Bernie out to get a takeaways and some bad news - the agency are crooked and do not pay up. With Bernie gone Fern does some snooping and finds a bank statement which she takes along with one of Bernie's tops. When Bernie returns Fern is no longer there and is subject to much teasing by Gemma.
Those letters which Sam has been sending to Harvey Gaskell have had an impact. There are prison visiting orders for Nick and Leanne - and the latter recalling that she only avoided dying because Natasha was wearing the same clothes means she does not want to be anywhere near the killing thug and later she starts having anxiety attacks as if Harvey was on the loose threatening to kidnap her - jumping when a door slams and similar. Sam remains in ignorance of everything and Nick has arranged a day off school for Sam and is planning an adventure. Nick tries to calm Leanne reminding her that Harvey is safely locked up and cannot be out there to cause Leanne any more trouble.
Which wraps up the week. It looks like the brief resumption of normality in the Metcalfe household will not last - some great one-liners from Sally in her tantrums this evening - with references to Tim's mother (believed dead for many years) and his reading ability - now converted into a super ability to write texts. And tell me how you might confuse "Aggie" and "Sally" in your contacts list unless you have the latter listed under "Arridan"?

Jeanie: Calm down, Stu. You were happy enough to have the Nazirs supporting you and using money they couldn't afford to spend when you thought it was a cop who stitched you up. So don't be abusing Alya when she uncovers evidence you don't happen to like! It's not her fault. (It's the witless writers with this ludicrous storyline's fault...I mean that the 14 year old brained the girlfriend with the clay statue of the family dog that she had made in school?!! Are the writers being tongue in cheek here?!
Not to be unkind but considering that Max's stepfather is a barber Max has the worst haircut on the show. It's a style a toddler would wear.
What if the troll is Maria's own son and he wants he to stop all the extra stuff and pay some attention to him before he leaves for college.
