To be honest, Corrie hasn't produced many matriarchs overs the years, and I wouldn't class Gail and Sally as ones either. Eastenders has produced more e.g. Lou, Pauline, Pat and Peggy. I would've thought Neighbours' Madge Bishop or Helen Daniels would've made it
I know, I was disappoined with the Corrie choice. Eileen Grimshaw should have been in there, at least.
