It doesn't seem possible! Corrie is probably the most recognizable tv theme tune ever. Ok, maybe Doctor Who as well but Corrie's the grand old lady!

Much as I hate EastEnders, it has got a certain drama to its theme, maybe it's time for a Corrie revamp?

Corries tune is WONDERFUL..it illicits the feeling of the Street.
EastEnders is catchy, but, in my opinion, no more so than Corries.

Leave well enough alone!

It is very evocative, but I have to agree that EastEnders' theme tune has much more "oomph"...

I think the public reaction to fiddling with the theme would be the same as what happened in 1993 when they altered the EastEnders theme...people had a fit, and it was changed back with slight updating.

Eastenders and Brookside had a dramatic theme tune, compared to Corrie, Emmerdale and Crossroads. Grandstand is the best theme tune though

the theme to Crossroads was quite nice..had a quality to it.

EastEnders is dramatic and brash just like the programme.
