She was indeed. I voted her in on Corrieblog when I was editor there as Rita is my favourite character of all time.

I love Betty. And everyone seems to love her hotpot. I wonder if I can get hold of the recipe!
I just love Blanche Hunt. She tells it llike it is and doesn't take any crap from anyone. Hope I live to become an OAP just like her -- make everyone's else a living hell.
