Cassie wakes up on Tim and Cassie's sofa after Tim found her in the cab office, spending quality time with a bottle of Scotch. He tells her to go home and she says that she has no home. Can't she go live with Dame Maureen at the hall of residence for (very) mature students? Although it's the summer holidays now, you'd think Evelyn would've come back by now. Anyway, Ty chucks Cassie out for real and she's on her way to the station when she's picked up by Ross. She's just told Fiz not to trust Ross and there she is trusting Ross. She baits him and we see him lock the car door and drive off, returning to number 9 without her. Ladies and gentleman, we have our villain for the latter part of 2026.
Now that Betsy is back in the healing streets of Weatherfield, it can't be long before she's fully better, right? We've had David's epilepsy, Tracy's kidney, Carla's kidney, Ty's spinal injury, Nick's brain injury, Shona's brain damage, even Ryan's scar, all pretty much cured. Ryan invites Dylan round and he and Betsy have a heart to heart until interrupted by an angry Lisa.
Asha apologises to Sienna for accusing her of stealing Nina's money but she's not interested. We soon find out Sienna's secret as the confused woman in the street turns out to be her mum with dementia. Debbie watches on, seeing a terrible vision of the future and she starts googling voggling assisted dying. Asha offers to help Sienna with her mum.
