Is Deirdre Barlow turning into Phyllis Pearce?
If Deirdre's voice gets any deeper on Coronation Street, all she needs to do is get herself a blue rinse at Audrey's salon and we could have the new Phyllis Pearce on the Street. Mind you, Deirdre would then need to get herself a paramour to chase after rather than sit and mope at Ken in his cardi.

Yes! That's so true, Phyllis and Deirdre. She really needs to give up the fags though, because you can tell how badly it's affecting her by her voice. What a shame...
