Everyone must have noticed the striking photograph of the unfortunate Colin Fishwick in his graduation robes, which hangs on Joy Fishwick's livingroom wall. The thing that leaps out at you is the enormous thick black 'tache.
Reader Dolly Tubb left a comment wondering whether the person in the photograph is actually not Colin, but John Stape with a fake Groucho Marx-style moustache.
I must admit I've been wondering the same thing, but I have no clue. I'm tending towards the view that it's Fishwick rather than Stape, but as for the 'tache, surely there's nobody alive who could sprout that kind of facial fungus - not without the help of a serious dose of hormones. Except perhaps Fat Brenda from Levenshulme.
Colin Fishwick was played by David Crellin - I wonder if he's still watching Corrie and having a laugh at the Fishwick fall-out? (Apologies for not being able to find a picture of the picture.)
