On our latest episode of Conversation Street, we chat about the goings on in Corrie between the 14th and the 18th April 2025 (Episodes #11,543 - 11,548)
This week saw the confirmation of a theory many fans have been predicting for the past month or so – that Brody is indeed the child of Mick and Lou. That revelation immediately ramped up the drama in Friday’s episode, as Sean became the victim of a vicious beating at Mick’s hands – but what’s this going to mean for Gemma’s friendship with the Michaelis? And how will Ronnie react when he finds out Mick’s behind what he thinks is a second ginnel attack? Meanwhile, if last week’s bombshell that Theo has a wife wasn’t enough for Todd, Monday’s episode sees him discover that he also has two teenage kids. Can Todd bring himself to walk away from a relationship that’s turning out to be far more complicated than he ever imagined? Also this week, Debbie throws herself into planning her wedding to Ronnie while she still can, Christina continues her scheme to turn the tables on Jenny, and Dee-Dee pushes ahead with her campaign to improve maternity care for women of colour – but can she really trust Mr Nice Guy Wes?
There was very little in the way of Corrie news this week, so we give The Kabin a miss and skip straight onto some listener feedback.

For this week's bonus episode, it was time for another Listener Questions segment, and this time, we had a pair from listeners Jon and Joanne. First off, we're challenged to come up with an all-star Corrie cast, going down the street and only allowing one family from each house from the show's 65-year history. Of course, Ken and Deirdre are a shoe-in for Number 1, but what about the rest of the Street? Then after that, we're asked to share our thoughts on the current state of the Corrie sets - which are some of our favourites, which ones would we like to see less of, and which ones are just in need of a bit of a reboot? As always, we'd love to know your answers to these questions, so write in and let us know!
You can subscribe to our podcast on iTunes, stream all our old episodes on our own site here, or click the play buttons above to give it a listen from the comfort of this very blog!

I think we're going to find out that Brody is actually Kit's son from when they were teenagers. She married Mick letting him think that he was the father. I saw the spoilers where they do a throwback to when Kit, Lou and Mick were teenagers...just guessing, but it could be the reason that Mick is leaving and not Lou.
