I've had a lovely email from Jill in Canada who tells me there's a new Coronation Street Group that meets up in Beamsville. The Corrie group is a partnership between the Lincoln Public Library and the Beamsville Seniors Group.
They meet the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Centre, located at 4361 Central Avenue in Beamsville. There's a Corrie quiz and the chance to watch that evening's episode with like-minded friends. The next event will be January 28, 2009.
If anyone would like more information, please email Jill directly.

I was thrilled to hear Darrel Banks Open the Door to Your Heart blasting from Lloyds taxi on Friday evening of Coronation Street.
Lloyd is often seen wearing Northern Soul t shirts and raving about Northern Soul so for me this made it all seem more real.
Sadly only Northern Soul fans would have appreciated hearing Darrel Banks for the 1st time ever on TV and sadly probaly the last!
Hope you play the same tune at Glastonbury this year.
