As Gemma hurls insults at Naomi, Naomi loses her rag. Has their plan worked? Bernie films before Dev and Kit arrive. Nina shows Asha the online video. Doesn't Glenda have her family home? I thought George agreed to give it to her because he inherited both.
Didn't George give her the family home? AFAIK he inherited the business and the house, Glenda felt that was unfair and after a bit of to and frying he signed over the house.
I wonder what Sally Carmen thinks of her characters development over the years? She has certainly played her part well, what wonderful actress. Of course Abi is filing for divorce, Carl sees dollar signs!
Did Glenda sell the house or rent it out? I am baffled as to why she'd be upset with Christina moving in, other than the fact she will be dating a fellow lodger. The Mary/Christina dynamic will be interesting.
Swarla...hmmmm.
Really disliking Becky, good job Amy! Nothing like a dead partner coming back to life. Rumour has it that she won't be the only one. Peter Barlow will be making his way back to the cobbles if certain articles can be believed.
Who knows? I didn't think Eva would ever be back, but that's coming soon too.
Fair episode
Exactly right. George and Glenda were at loggerheads for weeks. We aren't expected to remember that.
Exactly. George and Glenda were at loggerheads for weeks. But we aren't supposed to remember that.
You had the answer - she has lodgers.
In the episode Glenda hinted that she had tenants in her home, so she's renting it out and can't simply kick them out. Or did I mishear it?
Another episode where you end up asking, where did they get the nerve to put out that rubbish. The Gemma/Bernie plot line was just silly and that Becky storyline with that silly, entitled little girl is ridiculous. Do they actually pay the writers for this nonsense? If so they're on a good number. Give me an infinite number of monkeys and typewriters - they'd do better.
Asha was right when she said Dev was making it all about him. He always does. But the last shot of the episode was Dev sitting on the stairs. Making it about him. We should have followed Asha, seen her cry. This should be a storyline about a young woman's struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts, instead it's a storyline about how her father is coping with it. ITV should know better than this.
If Gemma was to bring a lawsuit against Naomi for assault in court, she would have her case dismissed if a judge finds that she instigated the fight between them so she can forget about asking a court to waste its time over the incident that she caused.
Stroppy Betsey is hard to like. Is Becky her biological Mum? Will the (donor?) Dad suddenly turn up?
When has she made all these clothes? She was always bunking off school/ college. No mention of A-levels.
Hahaha...typewriters! Seriously though, the writing has been truly terrible as of late. The constant comings and goings of cast is gross. It's not really Corrie anymore is it. As for Betsy, entitled, spoiled, snotty...yeah
I would have thought George would ask Todd if 'chrissy' could move in, as it's not his property, it's Eileen's. I'm glad she's staying on, as she's a fab actress.
I still reckon she's got something up her sleeve...
