Preview of today's Coronation Street - Monday 6 October 2025

Monday 6th October

DEV IS CRUSHED BY ASHA’S ACTIONS Having finally enjoyed their wedding night at the hotel, Bernie tells Dev that she’s worried about Asha. In the shop, an exhausted Asha swigs on a bottle of wine, before suddenly instructing Brody to mind the shop and heading out. As Brody panics, Asha heads down the street in tears. Back at the pub, Dev takes a call from Amy (who’s found Asha thanks to Theo) and races out. A paramedic tends to Asha and quizzes Dev and Amy as to whether she might have taken any drugs in addition to the wine. As a fraught Dev waits for news in A&E, Sienna approaches and tentatively reveals that they found drugs on Asha. Dev reels as Bernie asks if Asha tried to kill herself. Will Asha be ok?

TIM MEETS AN OLD FLAME Tim picks up a fare and instantly recognises her as Trisha Pinkerton, a girl he knew back in the 80s. As Tim and Sally celebrate their anniversary, she suggests Tim goes to the Rovers with the blokes in a bid to cheer Kevin up. Trisha arrives and catches Tim’s eye. Tim explains that Trisha’s a blast from his past. Tyrone and Steve are amused whilst Kevin’s disapproving. As the lads discuss Asha’s situation and their concerns for Dev, they open up and admit that they all have their own set of worries and in future they should share them rather than bottling them up.

THEO REAPPEARS AS A HERO An upset Todd confides in George that Theo’s still not been in touch. George reckons he’s better off without him. As Theo passes Victoria Garden he spies Asha slumped on the bench, an empty wine bottle next to her. As he shouts for help, Todd rails at Theo for his disappearing act. Theo stomps off again, while an upset Amy pours her heart out to Todd, telling him that if Theo hadn’t found Asha things could have turned out very differently. Can Todd build bridges with Theo?

What are these tablets that Asha had taken? No-one at Dev's takes prescription drugs, do they? Did she find a drug dealer somewhere? I'm a bit puzzled by it, to be honest.
Why has she got a private room in a NHS hospital? In reality, she'd be put on a ward.
Plus, where has Abbi gone? Where is she staying? Has she left corrie now for good?
Theo's going for therapy (again). I don't mean to sound trite, but private therapist's fees are around £80- £100 an hour (or more) and we don't really see Theo go out to work.
If he's going every week, that'd be a considerable cost. How an earth can he afford it, with his childcare costs on top?
I know he won't go for therapy, but it's a valid question that Todd should ask.
How does Ty manage to get up to the bathroom, If he's in a wheelchair? There's no disabled loos at the rovers, is there, and none at the bistro, either.
