EILEEN’S GRIEF GETS OVERSHADOWED As an upset Eileen mulls over Julie’s death, George worries about Julie’s final message to Eileen and the future of their relationship which only annoys Eileen further.

KIT’S PAST COMES BACK TO HAUNT HIM Lisa tells Kit that they’ve hauled in Mick on suspicion of an assault and she’d like him to conduct the interview. Kit masks his unease. As Kit enters the interview room he’s clearly nervous and Mick’s amused. Kit fails to question Mick in detail and says he’s free to go. Outside, Mick corners Kit and tells him they need to have a chat. What has he got on Kit?

TODD AND THEO CAN’T CATCH A BREAK When Theo’s daughter, Millie, calls at the undertakers demanding some answers from her Dad, Todd looks uneasy.

ELSEWHERE Dee-Dee tells Michael that she’s planning to return to work as she’s feeling much better. But when she finds Roy in the cafe with a candlelit cake in honour of Hayley’s birthday, Dee-Dee becomes emotional. Lauren tells Bobby that she hasn’t received any more threatening texts, but she worries the blackmailer is simply biding their time.

So Eileen's exit storyline is going to prison for murder? One of these days I'm really going to have to bite the bullet and stop watching this show.

I do hope Eileen's exit isn't in a black maria for killing Julie. How many more innocent people can the soap police bang up? Though in a way I would prefer that to her dumping lovely George.

I don't think she will be charged with murder. Jason makes a brief appearance, so I reckon she's off to Thailand to stay with him.
I don't quite know why we need to see a younger kit, Lou and Mick. Neither of them are long standing characters, so the viewers won't be fully invested in them.
It just seems as if the Corrie team are clutching at straws at the moment. It's probably a knock on effect of all the good actors/actresses leaving. If they can't hang on to them, then it's no surprise that they're not on top of things.

It's amazing how many innocent people go to jail for murder in Weatherfield....like Fluttershy I feel the same
