TODD’S TROUBLES CONTINUE Todd hears the car alarm on the hearse and goes to investigate, finding it covered in paint, Todd’s shocked to discover it was Millie who vandalised the hearse. As she rails at him for ripping her family apart, Theo leaps to Millie’s defence.
LAUREN SETS A TRAP Bobby offers to help Lauren look at flats but she assures him she’s fine on her own. Floored by the prices of rent, Lauren reveals she needs to get a job fast. Aadi offers to put in a good word at Freshco. When she then receives another text from the blackmailer demanding £200 or they’ll report her to the police, Lauren despairs. Showing Betsy the text, Lauren suspects Bobby is her blackmailer and it’s his way of trying to get closer to her. Lauren resolves to call his bluff. Having planted some fake cash, Lauren and Betsy wait. Will Bobby reveal himself?
MICK TAKES THE MICK OUT OF LIAM Liam and Jake join Gary and Mick for a day’s work at the builder’s yard. When Mick plays a prank on Liam, covering him in cement, Liam laughs along, determined to be one of the lads. Gary and Maria meet Mick for a drink.
ELSEWHERE In the Rovers, Ryan tentatively explains to Jenny that she’s no longer his boss and he takes his orders from Carla now. Jenny’s upset. Glenda shows some prospective buyers around the pub and attempts to put them off. Ryan eyes her suspiciously. Craig tells Roy he’s been offered another placement with CID. Carl calls at the hotel and finds Debbie struggling to organise a wedding fayre. He suggests she could do with some help.

Sorry but I found the whole 'embalming of Julie's body to cover up the autopsy' distasteful and unnecessary. Was it supposed to be funny?
For a few moments, I saw glimpses of Ken from Benidorm.
It was just horrible and distressing for any viewers who have recently lost loved ones. It's a pity that the Corrie team didn't think about that.
Craig being promoted to CID again is just absurd and does not make sense. He isn't the most brilliant copper in the first place. Like all the other silly plots that are totally unconvincing, it's brought in to lead up to his exit.
Dim Craig is clearly bring set up for a heroic death on duty. Pity they ruined his character. He was so much better as an art student, spraying graffiti in memory of Becky.
Coronation Street is a mess at the moment...stories are all over the place. How violent the street has become, no sense of community anymore...Corrie's charm was the sense that you were following ordinary people through their lives and the changing times, a reflection of society. If it now mirrors society then we are lost. Are people really that thirsty for crime and violence? If Gary and Tracy are murderers, wonder how many times we rub shoulders with real crims. I despair. Not a spit of actual entertainment any longer. Tarrah Corrie, cannot stomache it any longer.
