There's Deborah above with Michelle Keegan, who plays Tina McIntyre and the actor who plays Darryl Morton too. Corrie's 50th Barmaid
Becky Grainger behind the bar of the Rovers becomes Coronation Street's 50th barmaid, says Corrie.net today.
But if Tina McIntyre isn't running the place in five years time and doesn't have her name above the door too, I'll wear a barmcake on my head.

Coronation Street's Spider behind bars
Martin Hancock, who played the gorgeous Spider Nugent in Coronation Street, is taking a break from filming and is working behind the bar of the The Queen Boadicea pub in Clerkenwell, London.
I'm reliably informed by someone who was there that Martin was pulling pints in the pub just this very week. And if you turn up on quiz night, well, you might be in for another surprise. Anyway, if you're a fan of Martin or Spider, you might like to see him in the nuddy. I know I did. It's here. And isn't it about time for Spider to come back to the Street? Oh go on, just for me.

Coronation Street's oddest fan
Here's another of those Coronation Street picture puzzles we all love. We do, don't we? Well, I like 'em. Can you guess on which part of the set this Coronation Street fan usually makes an appearance?
And after you've puzzled that one, can you guess whose house on the Street has this bowl of fruit in it?

Would you buy Craig Charles' life story?
So, news this week is that Craig Charles, who plays Coronation Street's Lloyd Mullaney and also a top DJ and actor, is going to write his autobiography. Well, when I say write I mean 'reveal his hell', and when I say reveal his hell (well, no I don't but The Mirror does) I do mean of course that someone somewhere will be getting paid a fat wodge to write the book for him. And do you know what? I might just be one of those who buy it to read.
Which Corrie stars' books has anyone else read? I read and really enjoyed Amanda Barrie's (Alma Baldwin) and Julie Goodyear's (Bet Lynch) is definitely worth a read too. I read that book in one sitting. I just couldn't put it down, but I cried at the end of Amanda Barrie's book.

Jane Danson's husband joins Coronation Street
News reaches my delicate ears that Robert Beck, the husband of Jane Danson (she who plays Leanne Battersby), will join Coronation Street as hard man Jimmy Dockerson.
Now then, as well as being a huge Corrie fan I was also something of a Brookside nut. And Robert Beck played the part of Peter Harrison in Brookie, one of the most creepy soap characters I've ever come across. Seeing Robert turn up on the cobbles should be good and I'm looking forward to seeing him on screen.
