News reaches my delicate ears that Robert Beck, the husband of Jane Danson (she who plays Leanne Battersby), will join Coronation Street as hard man Jimmy Dockerson.Now then, as well as being a huge Corrie fan I was also something of a Brookside nut. And Robert Beck played the part of Peter Harrison in Brookie, one of the most creepy soap characters I've ever come across. Seeing Robert turn up on the cobbles should be good and I'm looking forward to seeing him on screen.
