Another Typhoo Tea Corrie competition
Typhoo Tea is holding yet another competition in honour of Coronation Street's 50th anniversary. This one is modelled after Willy Wonka. There will be 100 golden teabags and if you find one in your box of tea, you can win a set of 3 limited edition tea caddies filled with Typhoo tea, naturally. A grand prize winner will be drawn from those 100 and that lucky person will get to spend a day on the set with the Corrie actors.
Other ongoing competitions include this one where you can record your own version of the Corrie theme tune, and this one, a tea and (Warburton's) toast charity fund raiser. The competitions end in November, in time for the 50th anniversary in December.

Win a trip to the Corrie set with Typhoo and Warburtons
Coronation Street's 50th brand partners Typhoo and Warburtons have teamed up to create a nationwide campaign to get the nation hosting Tea & Toast Mornings to raise money for charity - and the host to raise the most will win a trip to the Coronation Street set.
All you have to do is cater purely for your guests with the classic food combination and in return for toast and a cuppa, guests are asked to bring a donation, however big or small, which will go to the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS). A really worthy charity raising money to make sport more accessible for disabled people.

Win a day on the Corrie set with Typhoo

Simply visit http://www.typhooalong.co.uk/ and recreate the iconic theme tune as per the instructions then upload your tuneful melody to the dedicated microsite and hope that you’ve outdone the other creative contestants that the nation has to offer! The most creative rendition will win a stroll down the infamous cobbles for them and five friends (total 6 people), not to mention the chance to meet members of the cast.
But don’t worry if you don’t quite make it to the top spot…10 runner ups will be invited to an intimate afternoon tea with members of the Corrie cast at Manchester’s prestigious Lowry Hotel. And, as a further commemorative gift for your efforts, these 10 runners up, along with the competition winners, will also receive a set of limited edition Typhoo tea caddies designed with classic characters from the long-running soap…a permanent reminder of your tuneful efforts!
What’s more, Typhoo have promised to donate £100 to their nominated charity, Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS), for every celebrity who uploads an ‘OO’ video, so if you have any celebrity mates, get them involved too!!
Visit http://www.typhooalong.co.uk/ for help on how to create your video, suss out your competition in the Hall of Fame and successfully upload your entry. The winner will be picked at the end of November so there’s plenty of time to put in some practice and get your best effort filmed!
